Think big, act with purpose, and make a difference

AMY BLACKWELL

Amy Blackwell is a philanthropy and impact specialist working with families to make a difference with their wealth. Her expertise is in creating and delivering effective impact strategies that place purpose as the central driver. She believes that understanding the purpose of the wealth for the families and each member is essential.

What does it mean to be a member of the family?
What do they want to be known for?
What has the legacy of their family been?
Is that still fit for purpose?

Families can teach future generations that wealth is a tool and not an identity. You need to learn how to use it. Wealth comes with responsibility and much is expected of its owner. Feeling confident and in control about how to wield that tool is an important part of the journey.

(As all services are bespoke, this is just a short but not exhaustive list)

Amy brings 30 years of financial and impact experience to her practice. She supports clients as they navigate the process of designing bespoke impact strategies. She identifies best practices to engage all her clients’ impact assets-networks and connections, skills and wealth. Her underlying principle is based on her belief that the word “philanthropist” needs to be reframed and focused on the goal of being a “Net Giver”- having given more than you have taken. With that principle in mind, she leads her clients on a journey that offers a greater understanding of what achieving impact can feel like.

  • I was feeling totally overwhelmed and believed that taking on my family’s foundation would be a burden. Amy made it fun, easy and exciting. She did all the heavy lifting and we got to be part of the grantmaking and collaboration. She made the process efficient and effective.
